We made this last night for dinner and it was super yummy! Fresh ingredients and perfect flavor. Here’s the recipe down below 🙂
Ingredients
4 (6 oz) skinless salmon fillets
Salt + Pepper
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 dollop of honey
2 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
Let’s get cooking:
While the salmon is resting at room temperature (about 10 minutes), prepare the sauce. Melt 1 tbsp. of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté about 1-2 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for about 3 minutes; it will reduce by half. Whisk in the remaining butter and honey. Set aside.
Salt + pepper both sides of the fillet. Add salmon to a warm skillet, over medium heat. Cook for 4 minutes on one side, then flip over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
We served our salmon over a bed of rice and poured the sauce on top. Sprinkle with parsley and add your favorite veggies on the side. So good!
Enjoy 🙂
